  • Who it is from, what it refers to, and whether there was a motion for response from the local. Include the motion, the name of the person who motioned, who seconded it, and whether it was carried.

  • PRESIDENT'S REPORT

  • Use this space to summarise President’s report. If written report provided, attach it to the minutes.

  • FINANCIAL REPORT

  • Use this space to summarize Financial Officer’s report. Attach written report to the minutes.

  • WORKSITE REPORT

  • Include name of each speaker and summary report.

    For example: Shift 3’s Mike Capenelli reports that new orders are in and 8 laid-off workers have been recalled. Six people ran for the Workplace Committee and 4 incumbents were returned.
  • REPORTS OF COMMITTEES

  • Include who gave each report, on behalf of which committee. Include 1 or 2 sentence summary of each report.

    Include any motions made, who made them, who seconded, and whether they were adopted.

  • Refers to any membership news about upcoming social or community events, reports of cards sent to members who are ill, etc.
